Pure vs Blended Acrylic
Transparency matters — here’s exactly how they differ
Best for
Long-term residential use, luxury renovations, master ensuites.
✓ Fully repairable — scratches sand and buff out completely
✓ Non-porous — mould resistant, deeply hygienic
✓ High heat resistance — no thermal shock cracking
✓ Warm to touch, consistent high-gloss depth
Best for
Rental properties, quick flips, guest bathrooms, lower budgets.
✓ Looks identical to pure acrylic when brand new
△ May yellow or fade with UV and chemical exposure
△ More prone to hairline cracking under thermal stress
△ Scratches may reveal filler material — difficult to fully restore
