1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2. Warranty Periods (Residential)

Smart Toilets & Bidet Seats — 2 Years Parts
In-wall Cisterns — 10 Years Parts
Valves & Flush Plates — 2 Years Parts
Ceramic Pans, Seats & Covers — 2 Years Parts
Commercial Use — 12 months Parts (all products)

3. Conditions of Warranty
Licensed Installation: Must be installed by a nationally licensed plumber per AS/NZS 3500.
Proof of Purchase: Valid tax invoice required for all claims.
Manufacturing Defects only: Does not cover wear and tear, scratches, or post-delivery accidental damage.

4. Exclusions & Limitations
Installation Costs: Lafeme is not liable for removal or re-installation costs.
Pre-installation Inspection: Customer must inspect goods before installation. Installing a damaged product voids the warranty for those defects.
Unauthorised Repairs: Repair or modification by an unlicensed person voids this warranty.

5. Returns & Restocking
Change of Mind: Subject to a 20% restocking fee (excl. GST).
Timeframe: Transit damage or missing parts must be lodged within 7 days of delivery.
Special Orders: Custom / made-to-order products are non-refundable.

6. Limitation of Liability
Lafeme Australia is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or consequential loss resulting from improper use or installation. All technical specifications are subject to change without notice.
